Project description

Project Highlight – Hanumanth Nagar, Bengaluru

In 2003, on a 43 × 33 ft plot in Hanumanth Nagar, Bengaluru, Shri. Mylavaram Subramanyam envisioned and built a mixed-use building that would serve both residential and commercial needs. Designed as a G+1 structure, the plan efficiently utilized the compact site to provide two commercial shops on the ground floor with a spacious residence on the upper floor.

The construction was carried out with precision and attention to durability. A strong RCC foundation and framed structure were adopted, ensuring stability on the relatively tight urban plot. High-quality bricks and cement were used for the walls, and seasoned wood and sturdy MS grills formed the doors, windows, and protective railings. Careful consideration was given to load distribution, with properly sized beams and columns supporting the superstructure.

Construction followed a step-by-step process — from excavation and foundation concreting, to column and beam casting, to brick masonry and slab work. Each stage was supervised to maintain quality standards. Finishing details such as plastering, flooring, and painting were executed with long-lasting materials, ensuring the building’s resilience against weather and time.

Over two decades later, the building continues to stand solid and unshaken, serving as a local landmark in Hanumanth Nagar. The durability of the structure reflects the foresight and craftsmanship of its builder. Even today, the project is recognized in the locality for its strength, utility, and the balance it struck between commerce and residence.
